Keep passwords, API keys and payment cards in an encrypted vault, unlocked with Touch ID.
ClipBuddy detects secrets as you copy them and moves them into the vault automatically.
Encrypted on your Mac (AES-GCM, owner-only key file — no keychain, no cloud). A pasted secret is concealed and cleared shortly after.
Smart Paste — destination-aware
Paste adapts to the app: paths shell-escape into terminals; curly quotes/dashes straighten and invisible whitespace is normalized in code editors.
Off by default. Hold ⌥ while pasting for raw, unchanged bytes.
Your clip history is never modified — the transform applies only to the copy being pasted.
Clipboard undo
Clipboard undo (⌘⌥Z): overwrote something? Walk the clipboard back through recent history.
Type-as-keystrokes: for fields that block ⌘V (bank sites, VMs, remote desktops), type the clip in.
Privacy controls
Per-app capture blocklist: tell ClipBuddy to never capture from chosen apps (your password manager, banking apps).
Snippets — keyword triggers
Save reusable text as snippets with keyword triggers, organized into groups.
Press ⌘⌥V, type the keyword, Enter — ClipBuddy pastes it into the app you were using.
Dynamic placeholders: date, time, clipboard, cursor position, fill-in fields, UUID.
Quick actions & transforms
One-tap actions on detected colours, sums, phone numbers and emails; make a QR code, open a link, reveal in Finder, Translate on-device.
