By downloading or using ClipBuddy (“the app”), you agree to these terms.
1. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Macs you own or control, for as long as you’re on the free tier, a free trial, or an active purchase.
2. Free tier, trial & purchases
Free tier. Your most recent clips stay pasteable for free, with no account and no purchase required.
Free trial. Pro includes a 7-day free trial with every Pro feature unlocked, offered through the App Store. No charge during the trial; it converts to a paid subscription only if you don’t cancel before it ends.
Pro. Pro is available as an auto-renewable Monthly or Annual subscription, or a one-time Lifetime purchase. All purchases are made through the Apple App Store — the current price is shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends; your Apple ID is charged on renewal.
Manage & cancel. Manage or cancel your subscription anytime in App Store → Account → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Refunds are handled by Apple under its Media Services Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, or attempt to bypass the trial or purchase licensing.
4. Your data
Your clipboard history is stored locally on your Mac, and ClipBuddy collects no personal data. Purchases are handled by Apple. See our Privacy Policy for details.
5. Disclaimer & liability
The app is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, or for loss of data. You are responsible for your own backups.
6. Changes
We may update these terms or the price with reasonable notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
